# Delete a publication namespace

> Deletes the namespace in the selected Workspace: queries stop serving it, its slug becomes free for a new namespace, and cleanup of every stored input and table output is queued. Cleanup waits for outstanding upload grants to expire. Receipts, activations, selections, and worker callbacks for the deleted namespace fail.

## Access

This operation needs a Parable token. An MCP token cannot call it. See [Authentication](/getting-started/authentication.md) for the kinds of token.

Your roles must grant `tenant.artifacts.delete`.
